We got to visit a few minutes with Aunt Darlisa for a little bit when we went to White Salmon too, which was fun but didn't last nearly long enough. Of course Darlisa took the fussy baby off our hands and had Alyssa peacefully resting to happy songs, which she loved. As soon as we regained possession of the baby, she started crying! We wanted to kidnap Darlisa and have her be our personal "baby cheerer". Is that a word? Anyways, it was a fun little visit and we can't wait to be back up in the great Northwest again. We wish again that we could've stayed longer, but at least we got to enjoy Darlisa's company for a little bit. And if she ever feels the need to babysit a small child, we've got a little bundle of joy that would love her company! We sure do miss you.
