Alyssa was born on March 17th at 7:03 am, after an excruciating hour and 13 minutes of labor at the birthing center. She was 7 lbs 9 oz. and 21 3/4 inches long and took 2 full pushes to deliver. On day 2, she started trying to hold up her head and was very alert to things around her. All the nurses tried to kidnap her, but their feeble attempts failed, due to the security system attached to Alyssa's ankle. Suckers. She's smiled, for real (not gas bubbles), twice already and has us wrapped around her little finger. She's a keeper!
